The library has a specialized collection in Medicine and its allied fields. The library boasts a rich collection of Textbooks, Reference books, Journals, Theses, and other scholarly resources. Additionally, the library maintains a curated collection of non-academic literature—including storybooks, novels, and biographies—for recreational reading.

The library contains more than 20,000 print books, encompassing core textbooks and authoritative reference works across various medical disciplines. Publications from renowned international publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley, Oxford University Press, Springer, and McGraw Hill are available in the library collection.

The library maintains a comprehensive repository of printed theses submitted by postgraduate students across various departments of the Institute. These documents are available for consultation and reference within the library premises.

The library subscribes to over 200 national and international print journals from major academic publishers including Wiley, Springer, Elsevier, Sage, and Nature. Print journals are procured in compliance with National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines and faculty recommendations. Users may access current print journals within the library with assistance from library staff.

Previous issues of journals are compiled and hardbound annually to create archival bound volumes for continuous research reference. Additionally, the library subscribes to daily regional and national newspapers.
