In this department, comprehensive training is imparted to undergraduate medical students regarding various aspects of Anatomy over a duration of 1.5 years in accordance with the MCI-guided CBME curriculum. Training is delivered through interactive lectures, practical sessions, laboratory experiments, student seminars, and hands-on cadaveric dissections. The core function encompasses teaching Embryology, Histology, and Neuroanatomy while seamlessly correlating theoretical knowledge with practical demonstrations and dissection experience.

As per Medical Council of India guidelines, admissions are granted for two MD Anatomy seats annually, maintaining a strength of six postgraduate residents across three academic years. PG students undergo rigorous training through microteaching, group discussions, journal clubs, academic seminars, and advanced cadaveric dissections to master pedagogical and technical skills. In compliance with MUHS regulations, every postgraduate resident must complete and submit a formal Dissertation along with publishing at least one research paper during their 3-year tenure.
